How do I view a property?
![]() Please call our office on 0249 433 088 and speak to one of our friendly staff to enquire on the next available inspection time. If a time has not yet been set, your name and number will be taken and we will notify you when an inspection has been booked. If you are not available at thist time, please contact our office so we can arrange another suitable appointment.
How do I apply for a property?
![]() Simply complete one of our application forms, available at the inspection, on our website or at any of our offices. After filling in the application form, you must provide all the supporting documents outlined at the top of our forms. We do not process an application form unless all the supporting documents have been provided. Once the application forms are complete, please hand them into any of our offices.
Do I need to pay a holding deposit?
![]()
Yes. Once the Property Manager has advised you on the success of your application, a holding deposit must be paid. The amount of this deposit is equivalent to 2 weeks rent plus a $15 lease preparation fee. This needs to be in the form of a bank cheque or Australia Post Money Order, made payable to Creer Property. We cannot accept personal or company cheques. We hold these monies in trust until your lease commences and will be applied to your first 2 weeks rent.
How much is the bond?
![]() The bond is the equivalent of 4 weeks rent. The bond is due and payable the day you sign your lease. It must be in the form of a bank cheque or Australia Post Money Order made payable to The Rental Bond Board. We cannot accept personal or company cheques.
Can I have a Pet?
![]() Unless pet approval was assigned prior to you moving into the premises, you must seek written consent. If you are successfully approved for the pet requested, you must sign a pet clause which will be added to your current lease agreement. This clause states you will have the property treated for fleas inside and outside the premises; that any carpets professionally steam cleaned; and that any damage caused by the pet/s will be rectified, all upon vacation of the premises.
How long is the lease?
![]() A 12 month lease offers maximum security for both the tenant and the landlord. A 6 month lease may be preferred for a tenant in transit or perhaps a landlord who has their property on the market for sale. Upon your application form, please advise what length of lease you would prefer and the Property Manager will discuss this period with the landlord.
